Welcome!

This website was made by 4 coffee loving students from the University of Missouri St. Louis to serve as a coffee lover’s guide to St Louis. We love our city’s coffee and we hope you do too!

Until the 1920s, Saint Louis was the biggest coffee-roasting city worldwide, boasting a little over 70 coffee roasting facilities. We have compiled a list of a couple of the most beloved coffee roasters of Saint Louis, information about them and their roasting process, as well as the history of their coffee beans. These coffee roasters have more than just an influence on the public at their own businesses, they also provide too many other local coffee shops in the Saint Louis area. Here we have listed a few local coffee shops, many of which purchase their coffee from the local roasters. We have also included a bit of information about each coffee shop and what they in turn offer to the coffee loving world. Since this site is dedicated to the coffee lover, we will also include information about the roasting process and a little bit of history on the coffee origins.
